A beautiful vintage set of 6 Mother of Pearl Buttons that are encased in golden metal that has an Art Deco look to it. I believe the metal to be brass. The buttons are a nice size at 7/8”, are two hole sew through, and have a lovely luster and iridescence about them. The frame is around the side of the button and continues to the back where it completely encases the button with the exception of the center so the button can be used. The metal is slightly concave and features a ribbed design. All of the buttons are in very good condition and it is great to be able to find a set of 6 that are still around. You can add these to your shell button collection but they would really be pretty on a sweater.
