-Rare, Jerry Garcia “In Chair” (originally oil on canvas) lithograph hand made print from one of five known oil painting ever produced by the artist.
-24”x30” on very HEAVY, THICK, 100% French rag
-FAR nicer paper than any poster in my collection
-Made from 14 color plates. The image is RICH and VIBRANT
-Jerry painted this image as a teenager, before became a prominent musician, while in studying to become a professional painter at the California School of Fine Arts (now known as the San Francisco Art Institute). The image represents one of five oil paintings of his that are known to exist. They were given to his older brother Cliff Garcia and kept in storage until after he died. That was when Cliff and Stanley Mouse produced these lithographs using a centuries old Parisian printing press and 14 hand etched plates. Made at S2 Atelier, Las Vegas.
