Originally produced for an April 26, 1967 showing on KQED-TV Channel Nine, this advertises a later date of July 11, 1967 on KCET Channel 28 in
Pasadena
in
Pasadena
’s TV-Week magazine.
The advertisement, along with a b/w photograph of the Grateful Dead, replicates the poster/handbill for the airing; however the date is different and it excludes the notation of Allen Ginsberg as part of the program.
The airing includes work by Andy Warhol, poetry reading by Ginsberg and Michael McClure, and footage of the dead that would be later used for the

video of Pigpen doing Hard to Handle and other performances.
