1948 Autograph on Senate Letterhead - James Murray, Montana. Murray, James Edward (1876-1961) — also known as James E. Murray — of Butte, Silver Bow County, Mont. Born near St. Thomas, Ontario, May 3, 1876. Democrat. Lawyer; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Montana, 1932 (alternate), 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1952, 1956; U.S. Senator from Montana, 1934-61. Died in Butte, Silver Bow County, Mont., March 23, 1961 (age 84 years, 324 days). Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Butte, Mont.
VG-EX condition.  Slight edge and corner wear, normal mailing folds. I use a poor/fair/good/very good/excellent/mint grading system and grade very conservatively (see my feedback). This does NOT necessarily correspond to the generic Ebay grading system that we are forced to use. Shipping is .95 in the U.S.
